The Surrey Cricket Foundation is proud to announce that Chloe Leveridge, our Head of Schools and Young People, has been shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the ECB’s inaugural Impact of Cricket Awards 2026.
The Rising Star category celebrates individuals who go above and beyond to deliver outstanding outcomes for their organisation, partners, and communities. Chloe’s nomination is a testament to her exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to making cricket more inclusive and accessible.
Chloe’s cricket journey began over a decade ago as a casual community coach in Suffolk, where she quickly made an impact—winning Chance to Shine Coach of the Year in her first year. She went on to pioneer women’s softball festivals in Norfolk and later transformed youth engagement strategies in Essex, delivering record participation numbers and championing diversity.
Since joining Surrey Cricket Foundation just six months ago, Chloe has:
- Streamlined coach allocation for greater efficiency and cost savings
- Generated over £10,000 in new revenue through a paid schools offer
- Integrated Surrey Schools Cricket Association competitions
- Created a scouting network to ensure state-educated children have access to Surrey CCC pathways
Her energy, vision, and collaborative approach are redefining leadership in recreational cricket.
The ECB’s Impact of Cricket Awards recognise individuals and organisations driving positive change across the game. Chloe’s shortlisting highlights her transformational impact and dedication to making cricket representative and sustainable for future generations.
Chris Coleman, Director of Cricket Participation at Surrey Cricket Foundation, said:
“Chloe has made an incredible impact in such a short space of time. Her passion for creating opportunities and her ability to deliver meaningful change for schools and young people is inspiring. We’re delighted to see her recognised nationally and couldn’t be prouder of her achievements.”
We wish Chloe the very best of luck at the awards and thank her for her incredible contribution to cricket in Surrey and south London.
