Born and brought up in Surrey, Carol has been a member of Surrey County Cricket Club for many years, has a deep passion for cricket, and has sat on the development board of Chance To Shine since 2019.
BOB QURESHI
Surrey Cricket Foundation
Bob, a Fellow of the Market Research Society is an owner of research agencies; i-view London, Prevision Research and The Research Club. A former Chair of Purley CC, Bob helped design and run the first full scale Club Survey for the SCF in 2011, and it’s still carried out each year. He’s heavily involved in all our fundraising activities.
CRISPIN LYDEN-COWAN
Surrey Cricket Foundation – Treasurer
Crispin is a retired Partner from EY & is now a Finance Director for Strong Pilates. He is a member of Wimbledon CC & currently Treasurer of The Surrey Championship and Surrey Seniors Cricket Association. One of his passions is trekking across the Sahara Desert.
EMMA LEWENDON
Emma has been involved with Surrey since the 80’s running the ticket office; Benefit and testimonial years. Emma has worked for The Lord’s Taverners as Head of Events and then Head of Partnerships. She was elected to The SCCC General Committee in 2017.
NIGEL MARTYN
Nigel is a lifelong fan and player of cricket in Surrey. After a career in banking, Nigel took over Chairmanship of his local club, Tilford. He continues to play for Tilford and for Surrey O60’s, the current County Champions and is on the Management Committee of the I’Anson League.
SEAN KEATON
Sean is the secretary of the NEC Surrey Junior Cricket League & on the committee of Dulwich CC as the welfare officer & pathway co-ordinator. He is on the executive committee of the London Schools Cricket Association & helps coach & manage the U14 team.
SOPHIE KENT
Sophie has been a lifelong cricket fan and is passionate about providing both children and women opportunities to play the game. She previously ran Leicestershire County Cricket Club and is a Trustee at the London Cricket Trust.
ARUN HARINATH
After retiring from a decade of professional cricket at Surrey CCC, Arun joined the A&W Capital team in 2019 as a Business Development Manager. He has also worked at an array of companies including NFLUK, CSM, FICA and Pitch International.
DENNIS HOLDER
Dennis is recently retired as MD of Funtime Products Ltd after years in Senior Management & consulting in Agribusiness & the Food industry. He is a Foundation member of the African Caribbean Cricket association (ACCA) & Secretary of the Caribbean Cup Comp.
LAURA PIERCE
Laura heads up the Major Sports Events department at the GLA, overseeing the delivery of London’s extensive portfolio of global sports events. Laura has over 15 years’ experience in the sports industry, including driving London’s planning and delivery of the UEFA European Football Championships in 2021 and 2022.She has extensive experience playing, coaching & administrating Women & Girls’ Cricket, representing Surrey Women’s 1st XI for several years.
RAWLE BECKLES
Rawle has been working in the non-for-profit sector for over 20 years. He is currently Director of Fundraising at Central Foundation Boys’ School. He is also a trustee for the Reedham Children’s Trust. A lifelong cricket supporter.
