Disability Day 2025 – A Festival of Accessible Sport at The Kia Oval!

Join the Surrey Cricket Foundation for a fun-filled and inclusive day of sports and activities at the iconic Kia Oval! Disability Day 2025 offers a fantastic opportunity for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to try a variety of accessible sports and enjoy a memorable experience at a world-class sporting venue.

Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: The Kia Oval, London, SE11 5SS

What to Expect:
Attendees can look forward to trying a range of engaging activities, including:

  • Adapted Cricket:
    • Wheelchair Cricket: Experience the thrill of cricket in a wheelchair.
    • Visually Impaired Cricket: Learn about the adaptations that make cricket accessible for those with visual impairments.
    • Table Cricket: A fun and inclusive version of cricket played on a table.
    • Softball Cricket. 
  • Animal Encounters: Get up close with friendly animals from Vauxhall City Farm (https://www.vauxhallcityfarm.org/).
  • Fun and Games: Enjoy other activities like inflatable games and face painting.
  • Mascot Interactions: Meet and greet club mascots.

Who Should Attend?
This event is primarily for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) from schools and community groups across Surrey and South London, along with their teachers and carers.
