As the women and girls’ game continues to grow, strengthening the volunteer workforce is essential — and a range of pathways exist to help more women step into key roles.

Volunteers are the driving force behind the development of Women & Girls’ cricket, and we have a range of opportunities to train and upskill the volunteer workforce in the women & girls’ game. Encouraging more women into coaching, officiating and management roles within clubs is hugely important, to ensure female voice are heard and to provide role models for younger girls coming through.

We offer female-focused development opportunities that strengthen the volunteer workforce and support the long-term, self-sustaining growth of the Women & Girls game.

Connecting and empowering women across the game, the Surrey Women in Cricket Network creates space for learning, collaboration and shared leadership.

The Surrey Women in Cricket Network (SWiCN) brings together women and those supporting the female game to connect, develop skills and knowledge, and work collaboratively to help shape the future of Women & Girls’ cricket in Surrey.
