Carol’s impressive corporate career included 14 years spent as President, CEO and Executive Vice Chair in global communications companies within the private sector (Edelman & BBDO), where she also gained considerable experience at International Board level. With a background in marketing, Carol has worked with many organisations around the world, helping them achieve commercial success through a focus on customers and brand & product relevance. She has extensive experience in building partnerships, developing and delivering communications strategies, leading cross functional and multi-cultural teams to deliver operational improvement and success, whilst meeting strict financial targets.
Carol has significant experience at non-executive board level having spent the last three years as a NED on the board of the Ordnance Survey. She has also been an advisory board member at the UK National Committee on China (UKNCC), and the United World College of South East Asia, (UWCSEA).
The trustees and executive team of Surrey Cricket Foundation are excited to welcome Carol to the team and look forward to her leadership as we navigate this critical period in cricket and look to the future. We believe her experience and skills are ideally suited to help us continue to build on and develop the important work of the Foundation.
