Surrey Cricket Foundation is excited to announce a fantastic competition for young cricket fans! One lucky child aged between 6 and 14 will have the incredible opportunity to be the official mascot for Surrey County Cricket Club at the Vitality Blast Quarter Final match against Durham, taking place at The Kia Oval on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.

The mascot will also receive four tickets in the Xbox Family Zone to enjoy the match with three guests.

How to Enter:

To be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize, simply:

  1. Follow the Surrey Cricket Foundation on social media (Instagram, X and/or Facebook)
  2. Like the competition post on social media (Instagram, X and/or Facebook)
  3. Tag a friend within the comment section of the competition post on social media (Instagram, X and/or Facebook)

The competition opens on August 3rd, 2024, and closes on August 18th, 2024, at 11:59 pm. A winner will be selected at random and contacted by Thursday, August 22nd, 2024.

Terms and Conditions:

Introduction
These are the rules for the Surrey Cricket Foundation competition. By participating in the competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these rules.

The prize
The prize is x1 mascot opportunity (for a child aged between 6 to 14 years old) at the Vitality Blast Quarter Final match between Surrey County Cricket Club and Durham, taking place at the Kia Oval on Tuesday 3rd September 2024. The mascot receives 4 tickets in the Xbox Family Zone (mascot +3 guests). Travel to and from The Kia Oval is not included in the prize. Refreshments are not provided as part of the prize. There is no other alternative prize available, in whole or in part and this prize is non-transferable. The prize will only be provided to the winner from this competition.

Competition
The competition will be advertised on Surrey Cricket Foundation and Surrey County Cricket Club social media accounts. To be with a chance of winning the prize, participants are required to:

1. Follow the Surrey Cricket Foundation on social media
2. Like the competition post on social media
3. Tag a friend within the comment section of the competition post on social media

Opening and closing dates
The competition will open from 3rd August 2024 and close on the 18th August 2024 at 23:59.

Who can enter?

  • This competition is only open to residents of England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.
  • Entrants can only enter once per social media handle.
  • The following are not eligible to participate:
    • Employees of Surrey County Cricket Club.
    • Employees of Surrey Cricket Foundation
  • Other persons assisting with this competition.
  • There is no alternative method of entry.

When will the prize draw happen, and how will the winner be contacted?

All entries that follow the Surrey Cricket Foundation, like the competition post, and tag a friend in the comment section of the competition post will be put into a draw where a computer randomiser will select a winner.

The Prize draw will take place on Tuesday 20th August 2024

The winner will be contacted by Surrey Cricket Foundation by Thursday 22nd August 2024.

If there is no acceptance and acknowledgement of this contact within one hour of first contacted, Surrey County Cricket Club has the right to withdraw the prize entitlement and to award the prize to an alternative qualifying entrant.

The prize will be sent to the winner after confirmation that they can attend the fixture.
