WE’RE WORKING TO CHANGE LIVES & INSPIRE PEOPLE IN SURREY & SOUTH LONDON FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS THROUGH THE GAME OF CRICKET.

Who We Are

The Surrey Cricket Foundation (SCF) is the charitable body responsible for the delivery and growth of recreational cricket across Surrey and south London. As an integral part of Surrey County Cricket Club, our mission is to make cricket the most inclusive sport in the region, driven by our belief in Making More Happen—using the power of the game to deliver stronger communities and transform individual lives.

Our Strategic Priorities: Making More Happen

Our efforts are driven by our three core goals, which ensure we are always focused on Making More Happen:

  1. More Games in More Places: We are committed to keeping the grassroots game growing and thriving by fostering participation at all levels, from our All Stars and Dynamos programmes (which engaged over 4,000 youngsters) to the success of our junior and senior leagues. This includes dedicated support for local clubs and investing in quality facilities across the county.
  2. More Inclusion: We champion inclusivity through targeted programmes that increase engagement for women and girls, diverse communities, and those from lower socio-economic groups, ensuring cricket is a sport for everyone.
  3. More Opportunities to Change Lives: We utilise cricket to be a powerful force for good by increasing access, removing financial barriers, and helping kids and young people find confidence, new friends, and a sense of belonging through programmes like the London Loop and Refugee cricket.

Our work is funded through a number of partnerships, including the ECB and Surrey County Cricket Club, as well as our own range of events including the annual Bedser Lunch, staged in the lead up to the The Kia Oval’s Test match.
