Surrey Cricket in partnership with local business is running a school’s cricket programme in Woking in honour of Alec and Eric Bedser.
Aim: This programme aims to identify, through the process, 6 children who have the potential to become performance cricketers. 6 scholarships will be awarded annually to children who are educated in Woking and are not currently in the SCCC player pathway.
Criteria: This programme is open to all children aged between 8-16 years and who attend a school in Woking. The children progressing to the assessments must not currently be involved in the SCCC player pathway programme. The scholarships will only be awarded to players that can commit to attending the 1 to 1 sessions and a 5 week coaching course (Guildford area).
