Professional Cricket Coaching Opportunity in Surrey
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and hard working cricket coach
wishing to develop a career in coaching. The ideal candidate will have a strong
playing and coaching history (ECB Level 2 minimum) with a desire to be a
positive and active part of a small cricket coaching business.
The role includes:
- Help launch a new cricket academy running throughout the winter. The
academy will include group coaching and 1:1 sessions for children aged 7-14.
- Head Coach at a local Cricket Club from Jan to Aug. Juniors & Seniors.
- Opportunity to deliver and lead Cricket Camps throughout the year
- 1:1 & Small Group Coaching.
Location: near Guildford, Surrey.
The work is based in excellent venues with outstanding facilities and the role will

Tilford Cricket Club
Professional Cricket Coaching Opportunity at Tilford CC, Surrey
Tilford Cricket Club has one of the fastest growing junior sections in Surrey and is looking for a part time coach (ECB Level 2 minimum) for the U12 team this upcoming 2021 season. The coach will plan and lead weekly training sessions at Tilford and have the option to also manage the matches. The coach will also have the opportunity to offer 1on1 private coaching to the entire TCC junior section and potentially run cricket holiday camps. Hourly pay £20 to £25 depending on experience. Worcester Park Cricket Club is seeking suitably qualified ECB coaches (L2 &L3) to deliver its junior coaching programme for the summer of 2021.
This is an exciting year for the club, who at the same time as celebrating its centenary will be launching its new junior coaching programme, the Worcester Park Lions, alongside the All Stars and Dynamos programmes on a Thursday evening during the season.

Professional Coaching Opportunity at Ham & Petersham Cricket Club
Ham & Petersham Cricket Club are looking for a Level 2 qualified coach to work with them on developing their junior cricketers. The coach would lead one U8s/U9s training session during the week on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday from May through to July. Additionally, there would be opportunities to coach other training sessions throughout the summer.
The club is at the heart of the local community, situated on Ham Common, between Richmond and Kingston. The junior section has dramatically increased in size over recent years and there is a need to increase their coaching provision.
Alongside this, the coach would offer 1-on-1 private coaching sessions to juniors during the week and in particular, over the weekends. There would be potential for these 1-on-1 sessions to take place through out the summer and winter.
The hourly pay for the training sessions would be dependent on coaching experience. The 1-on-1 sessions would be a private arrangement with the individual however, hourly charge would need to be such that the sessions were accessible to the local children.

Sutton Cricket Club
Player/coach ladies cricket section
SCC Ladies has been established for 6/7 years. In this time good progress has been made particularly in the last couple of seasons when the average age of the side has decreased membership has increased and cricketing skills and gameplay knowledge has improved.
If we are to continue our development, we need additional impetus particularly in assisting youngers players with the transition from junior to senior cricket.
At present our activity in the ladies’ section can be described as below:
-All Stars 4-7-year olds mixed with boys.
-Girls 8-13 years (school years 3 to 8)
-Colts We have a few girls that are good enough to participate in boys’ colts’ cricket.
-Women 14 years + 1st XI in Surrey Trust League, Surrey Slam and Elite T20
-Circa 18-20 members in 2020
-Coaching ladies two hours Wednesday evenings
-Coaching girls 90 minutes Friday afternoon/evening
Main duties:
• Development of coaching programs and player development/transition to adult cricket
• Attendance and organisation of weekly coaching sessions
• Attendance and/or playing in matches.
• Player recruitment and liaison with local schools/colleges
Remuneration:
-Basic salary of circa £3,000
-Addition coaching @ (to be agreed) per hour.
-Employment period April to September
-Reporting to Head of Cricket committee with dotted line to ladies’ captain and Head Coach

Cranleigh Cricket Club – U12/13s & U10’s Head Coach Roles
Working alongside the respective Age Group Managers and a strong coaching team, Cranleigh CC are looking for a couple of head coaches to lead a combined under12/Under 13s squad as well as an under 10s squad as they start their progression in hard ball cricket. Our juniors cricket section is well established and growing well with a membership of approximately 180 juniors currently. We operate teams from Under 9s – Under 15s including a number of girls teams.
Start and Finish Date:
Start: April 9th 2021
Finish: August 31st 2021 (tbc)
Principal responsibilities:
• To lead and drive all aspects of a cricket for that age group
• To organise and run the age groups training sessions (Thursday or Friday evenings, TBC)
• To run age group matches (typically on Sunday mornings)
• To aid in the recruitment of new players through local programmes and word of mouth marketing
• To work alongside the Head of Juniors Cricket and assistant coaches
• Working with the existing age group managers, to recruit more parents to support in the development and growth of girls’ cricket
Attributes & Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience club and/or schools coaching
• Level 2 Coach
• Valid DBS / Safeguarding certificates
Hours and Remuneration:
Approximately 8 hours per week including some evening and weekend work but scope to be fully defined with correct candidate. Remuneration to be agreed, based on qualifications and experience.
There is also likely to be other coaching opportunities locally to Cranleigh for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver against the strategic plan for recreational and community cricket.
• Deliver against key strategic programmes such as Chance to Shine, All Stars Cricket,Dynamos Cricket and other cricket participation programmes
• Promote strong links between clubs, local organisations, and our strategic programmes
• Identify and record individual or group case studies for promotional and M&E purposes
• Be prepared to undertake any other duties related to the work of these functions as required
Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Cricket Coach to a minimum of Level Two
• An understanding and experience of working within a club and youth cricket environment
• Experience coaching a wide range of audiences
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good Communication skills
• Ability to travel independently between sites (Full and valid UK driving licence)
Working hours will involve out of hours’ work, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as necessary.
