The Lord's Taverners Super 1's programme looks to address the gap in cricket provision for people with disabilities. It provides opportunities for people aged between 11-25 who have any form of Disability impairment to access regular weekly coaching, take part in competitions which can help them improve their cricket skills. This could all help to transform their lives by gaining more confidence, independence, leadership as well as the fun and social element by making new friends along the way. The Surrey Cricket Foundation currently runs regular sessions across 6 boroughs which are Croydon, Wandsworth, Sutton, Kingston, Surrey Heath and Epsom & Ewell.
This year, both the Winter and Summer cups of the LTDCC were held at the Kia Oval with teams from across London coming together to represent their respective counties.
If you are interested in participating in any of the weekly training sessions please look at the locations for the contact information - for anyone looking to help volunteer or become involved as a coach please email disability@surreycricket.com
