12 scholars earn free place on development course
Sunday 22nd June saw the annual Pinsent Mason’s scholarship assessment day take place at the Kia Oval. The scheme sees talented cricketers from Surrey Cricket’s schools program attend an assessment day. The top 12 participants on the day are then sponsored by Pinsent Mason’s to attend a Surrey Cricket Development Course free of charge.
The day saw 44 participants assessed on a number of different skills including: Batting, Bowling, Attacking Throwing, Turning and Throwing as well as Catching.
The cricket on the day was of a fantastic standard so well done to all involved. Particular congratulations must go to the 12 participants who were awarded scholarships:
