Join us at the Kia Oval for a day of celebration
The Outstanding Services to Cricket Awards (OSCAs) – our volunteer recognition ceremony held each year at the Kia Oval – will this year take place on Sunday 18th August.
The event recognises and rewards volunteers around the county who dedicate many hours to their clubs each season across a variety of roles.
Featuring plenty of awards, food, guest speakers and the chance to watch a game of cricket, the event is an important date in the Surrey Cricket Foundation calendar.
The six NatWest OSCA's nomination categories for 2019 will be:
Heartbeat of the Club - The special volunteer that your club simply couldn't do without, often the roles they carry out are behind the scenes. They often undertake a number of different roles, and are always there to lend a hand.
Lifetime Achiever - This individual will have made an outstanding difference to their cricket club, league, board or local cricket community over a significant number of years.
Young Volunteer - This award is designed to highlight and show the fantastic contribution that young volunteers aged between 14 & 18 on September 1st 2019 can make within the game.
Young Volunteer - This award is designed to highlight and show the fantastic contribution that young volunteers aged between 19 & 25 on September 1st 2019 can make within the game.
The Most Inspiring & Diverse Cricket Offer - This award is designed to highlight a club, league or community organisation that offers member led products, programmes and events that encourage participation from all members of their community. Innovation and pushing the boundaries are to be rewarded here and we want to recognise growth within the game.
Pro-Active Leadership in Cricket - This award is designed to highlight and show the essential contribution that proactive leadership can make within the Club, Leagues, Officiating, Community or County Organisation's. We want to recognise those individuals who are providing vision and direction in growing the game and reaching into new markets.
This years’ ceremony will take place on Day 1 of Surrey’s County Championship fixture against Hampshire.
The OSCAs are a great way to reward the hard-working volunteers at your club and rely on each club sending in nominations for deserving winners.
