The Women in Cricket Volunteer Awards are a celebration of the hard work and dedication of female volunteers who are working to improve the women and girls' game. The awards will be held on Friday 22nd September, and winners will be invited to attend a special dinner to receive their award.

There are five categories for the awards:

Female Coach
Female Official
Unsung Hero
Young Volunteer
Long-term Service

Nominations are now open for all categories, and close at 5pm on Tuesday 29th August. You can nominate a female volunteer who you know has made a significant contribution to the women and girls' game.

To nominate a volunteer, please complete the nomination form. In your nomination, please tell us why you are nominating the volunteer and what they have done to make a difference to the women and girls' game.

The winners of the Women in Cricket Volunteer Awards will be announced on Friday 1st September. We look forward to hearing about all the amazing female volunteers who are working to make a difference to the game.

Here are some examples of the types of female volunteers who could be nominated for the awards:

• A female coach who has helped to develop the skills of young female cricketers.
• A female official who has ensured that women and girls' games are run smoothly.
• A female volunteer who has gone above and beyond to break down barriers for women and girls in cricket.
• A young female volunteer who has inspired the next generation of cricketers.
• A female volunteer who has consistently supported the women and girls' game over a period of many years.

Nominations are open to everyone, so please take the time to nominate a female volunteer who you know deserves recognition for their hard work.
