Belleville (Girl's) and Cleves (Open) Victorious After Great Days Cricket.
Over 5,000 children took part in the preliminary local area Kwik Cricket competitions which resulted in 12 teams (6 girls teams and 6 boys teams) being invited to compete in the Lycamobile Kwik Cricket Grand Finals held on the 22nd June at the Kia Oval - all competing for the Lycamobile Cup.
Despite the weather forecast a full competition managed to take place with 24 matches being held in a Round Robin group stage followed by single game knockouts. The sound of cheers, laughter and encouragement was a sure sign that fun was had by all. We are extremely grateful that these children had the opportunity of playing on the outfield.... a memory that will stay with them for a very long time.
Congratulations to all involved, included the participants, coaches, umpires and last but not least the teachers and parents, without whom school cricket would not be played - your efforts are gratefully appreciated!
The final placings were as follows
Girls
1. Belleville
2. Sunnyhill
Joint 3rd- Bishop Gilpin / Westbourne
5. The Greville

Well done to all teams for making it through to the Lycamobile grand finals, and congratulations to county champions Belleville and Cleves in the girl's and open competition respectively.
Lastly, we would like to thank our competition sponsors Lycamobile for providing the funding which ensures these popular competitions continue to expand the participation of cricket in schools and allow the festival days to run smoothly.
