Surrey Cricket Foundation

This August and September, Scoot Theatre will be touring cricket clubs in the South East with their outdoor, cricket-themed, family-friendly productions of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and THE COMEDY OF ERRORS.

The cast of six professional actor musicians zip through these 60-minute adaptations which are suitable for all ages. Scoot promise: "Whether you’re 5 or 105, a Shakespeare newcomer or a Bard aficionado – we’ve got something for everyone!"

As enjoyable fundraisers for our clubs in the county, these shows offer something a little bit different for the social side of the season. Last year the company picked up a four-star review from The Telegraph for A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and you can see their trailer for that production below.

Clubs already signed up for a visit include: Dorking CC, Esher CC, Walton-on-Thames CC, Wimbledon CC, Shepperton CC, Godalming CC, Valley End CC, Beddington CC, East Molesey CC, Blackheath (Surrey) CC, Ashtead CC, Egham CC, Farnham CC and Chessington CC.
