As a key date in the club calendar we hope to see a minimum of 2 delegates from each club in attendance and the event costs just £10 per person and includes lunch. We believe the event forms one of the most important opportunities for clubs to learn from each other as well as the various presenters on show and we have received fantastic feedback from those clubs who have attended in the past.
The Conference will see a range of workshops and key note speeches delivered which will support the needs of the clubs across the county. The topic areas that will be covered in 2016 will include:
• The transition of young players into adult cricket
• Get the Game On
• National Player Survey findings 2015
• Funding
• Using social media to attract new members
• Other content TBC
As always we will also have a market place during the day as well with a range of companies exhibiting their products and services and we will again have a specific section of the website focussed on the Club Conference.
Simon Hards, Cricket Development Operations Manager, said, 'The Conference is becoming a key event in the club calendar and it is a great opportunity for clubs to share good practice, learn about new initiatives and network with like minded people. Over the coming months we will be releasing more information about the workshops and seminars and we look forward to welcoming delegates to the Kia Oval in March.'
