Limited space remaining for Post Christmas
Surrey's Pride of Lions Coaching Programme is gearing up for another record attendance in January with over 530 young people already booked to attend our courses at 8 venues across Surrey.
We recently went to see the team in action at our flagship venue, The Ken Barrington Cricket Centre at the Kia Oval and you can see what happened below.
The programme offers cricket to boys and girls aged 5-16 (Reception to Year 11) and also forms part of Surrey's player pathway with talented players put forward for assessment by the Surrey Performance Department. And there are a few who have gone onto represent Surrey and even England! Current Surrey captain Rory Burns is amongst the programme alumni, as are Ryan Patel and Ollie Pope!
Our Post Christmas courses start in January and you can check out the availability across the programme via our booking website.
Participation Manager, Simon Hards said, 'It is great to see the Pride of Lions programme attracting so many young people this year. We have the England Team to thank for capturing the imagination of many young people this Summer and our aim is to give them all a fantastic experience that leads to them wanting to play cricket throughout their lives. We can't wait to get started!.'
