Disabilities Day Cricket
This year the Surrey Cricket Foundation will be holding their annual Disability Day at the Kia Oval on Tuesday 9th May 2017. We would like to invite all schools and clubs to attend this years event for what promises to be a very special day.
Disabilities day aims to inspire Surrey and South London based disabled children to take up cricket and to promote disability cricket opportunities in Surrey and South London.
The activities will include batting, bowling and fielding stations, visually impaired cricket, deaf and table cricket. These sessions will take place on the outfield of the Kia Oval and will be run by fully qualified Surrey Cricket Foundation coaches with the help of coaches and organisers from the Surrey County Disability cricket sides (Learning & Physical, Visually Impaired and Hearing Impaired).
There will also be an Learning and Physical disability (LD/PD) county game being played on the other half of the outfield, giving the opportunity to the Surrey LD/PD players to showcase their skills at the iconic Kia Oval.

Disabilities Day Lunch
In addition to the cricket on show, the day will also include a fundraising lunch at the Kia Oval.
The money raised from this lunch will be used to support and develop disability cricket in the county of Surrey and South London.
We will be releasing more details about the lunch shortly!
This promises to be a fantastic day so don't miss out, sign up and we hope to see you here at the Kia Oval on the 9th May.
